A transformative guide every mother needs to read

Whole Woman, Happy Mom

A Journey of Self-Discovery to Enjoy Your Motherhood

This book won't give you techniques to control tantrums. It won't teach you a method. It will show you the real path: from disconnection to fulfillment.

Here you'll find the unfiltered truth about motherhood. The deep healing work you need. And the path back to yourself so you can live your motherhood from fulfillment, not sacrifice.

The motherhood that exhausts you is not a parenting problem. It's the result of having lost the connection with yourself.

Whole Woman, Happy Mom

Meet Yendi Love

I'm Yendi Love: mother of four, systems engineer, ontological coach, certified babywearing consultant, and author of Whole Woman, Happy Mom.

I chose to mother consciously — homeschooling, babywearing, presence — because something in me always knew there was another way. I've spent 16 years accompanying mothers and questioning what we were told motherhood "should be."

This book is everything I discovered along the way: what hurt me, what transformed me, what made me return to myself over and over. Because this work isn't about perfection. It's about return.

If you feel there is another way, this space is for you.

What you'll find in "Whole Woman, Happy Mom"

16 years of real motherhood — four children, homeschooling, neurodivergence, loss, rebuilding — distilled into a three-part journey.

Releasing expectations
Part 1

Releasing expectations

Recognizing the "Perfect Mother Programming" that's been running your life without your permission. The invisible "shoulds" that create guilt, comparison, and exhaustion.

Healing yourself
Part 2

Healing yourself

The deep work of coming home to yourself. Understanding your subconscious patterns, healing generational wounds, reconnecting with your body, honoring your cyclical nature as a woman.

Enjoying motherhood and life
Part 3

Enjoying motherhood and life

What becomes possible when you trust yourself. Setting boundaries without guilt, responding to big emotions, stop performing and start living, creating the family culture you actually want.

This book is for you if...

  • You're a mom looking to find balance and fulfillment in your daily life.
  • You want to learn practical self-care strategies and prioritize yourself without neglecting your family (or feeling guilty).
  • You feel that motherhood is beautiful but exhausting, and you need a positive change.
  • You want to connect deeply with your children while rediscovering yourself as a woman.
  • You're ready to let go of guilt and demands and embrace a more authentic and loving motherhood.
  • You're looking for a guide that combines real experiences with practical tools to transform your life.
  • You long to belong to a community of moms who share your desire to live with purpose and joy.

This book is NOT for you if...

  • You're looking for a universal recipe for motherhood.
  • You believe self-care is not necessary in a mom's life.
  • You think being a good mom means forgetting your own needs and desires.
  • You're not interested in reflecting on your life or making changes to feel better.
  • You prefer an instant or superficial solution instead of a deep and sustainable transformation.

Start your journey toward a fulfilling motherhood

This book is more than a read; it's a companion toward an authentic motherhood full of self-love.

Here are some of my favorite excerpts:

The motherhood that exhausts you, that makes you feel invisible, that consumes you until you're empty... is not a parenting problem. It's the result of disconnecting from your own truth to fulfill someone else's.

What you did, how you reacted, or what you decided in the past was the best you could do with the level of awareness and the tools you had in that moment.

Before being mothers, we are women. Whole human beings, with light and shadow, strengths and room to grow.

We are not designed to mother alone.

Guilt is powerful, but it only has power if we give it that power.

Trusting yourself starts with knowing what's yours and what never was.

This work isn't about perfection. It's about return. We lose ourselves. We find ourselves. We lose ourselves again. The practice is coming home — over and over.

Healing isn't pretty. It's remembering the time you screamed at your daughter and hated yourself for hours. It's recognizing that you repeat patterns you swore you'd never repeat. It's crying on the bathroom floor because you realized you're parenting from the wound, not from love.

It's not a path of perfection. It's a path of constant returns to yourself.

That inner voice we speak to ourselves with, the one that's sometimes harsh and relentless, was the result of internalizing our childhood traumas. Sometimes we pay so much attention to not becoming that harsh voice toward our children, and we forget to change the voice of the mother that stayed inside us.

Demand shouts at us 'you have to do it or you're a failure,' while genuine commitment whispers 'this matters to you and to those you love.'
